Corn Marketing Overview
With harvest completed, total corn supply for the 2016/17 marketing year is stable at 427.03 MMTs and the focus now shifts to the demand side of the balance sheet. Weekly export sales are currently behind of the USDA export pace by 37.35 MMTs. This is much lower than the USDA’s current prediction and will probabbly be revised downwards by an estimated -4.15 MMT in the upcoming WASDE report on September 26th, 2020.
