Soybean Marketing Overview
With harvest completed, total soybean supply for the 2016/17 marketing year is stable at 137.78 MMTs and the focus now shifts to the demand side of the balance sheet. Weekly export sales are currently behind of the USDA export pace by 7.68 MMTs. This is much lower than the USDA’s current prediction and will probabbly be revised downwards by an estimated -1.06 MMT in the upcoming WASDE report on January 28th, 2021.
